I'm creating a custom install / respin ISO with updated packages and a
kickstart - starting from CentOS 6.5 minimal install DVD. I'm generally
following the directions from

I can create the iso, boot, have it find the installation media (it prints
"Found local installation media"), partition the disks, resolve the
dependencies, and then when it gets to "Starting installation" it prompts
with "Please insert CentOS …

Debugging I've done so far (all but 4 result in the prompt for disc 1):
1. I've verified that the package set I have resolves all dependencies by
testing the installation into a new rpmdb.
2. I've copied over the minimal install DVD contents directly, placed
comps.xml in the Packages directory, and recreated repodata (using
'createrepo -g Packages/comps.xml -o . Packages/").
3. Built on both CentOS 6.5 (with all updates) and Fedora 20.
4. Also tried to minimal DVD _without_ running createrepo (just placed the
kickstart in the root of the image). This worked fine.
That 4 works suggest that createrepo is at fault, but I can't for the life
of me figure out what is going on. I've done this without a base url (-u)
and with (using 'head -1 .discinfo).
Can anyone offer some suggestions for how to debug further?

With SCL and epel repositories enabled, some dependencies for the package
name 'nodejs' get satisfied with libs from SCL which are placed in paths
that are not part of my user's environment. Is there a method to make sure
that nodeJS from epel dependencies are only satisfied from epel?

Hi,
I am experimenting with libnetfilter_queue. libnetfilter_queue is a
userspace library providing an API to packets that have been queued by
the kernel packet filter.
I am using sample code(nfqnl_test.c) available on netfilter.org. I
have generated two binaries (queue0 and queue1) using that
nfqnl_test.c sample code.
These binaries are working as per expected behaviour in case of Centos
6.2 but with Centos 6.5 only one queue is receiving network traffic.
I am not able to understand why …

The Ububtu VM can connect to the LAN the T20 is on and off into the
public Internet. Machines on the LAN (eg my laptop) can connect to Ububtu
VM. *BUT* the host server cannot connect to the Ububtu VM and the Ububtu
cannot connect to the host server.
Netstat -r on the T20 (host server):

(server1 is the older PowerEdge server running CentOS 5 that *presently*
serves as the router to the public Internet and is also the dhcp and DNS
server for the LAN. Eventually, the new T20 server will take that over, once
it is fully set up.)
I have set up VMs like this on my CentOS 5 (Xen) machine without any problems,
but I must be missing something here.
