"Monitor" RPMs in Repo

Hi all, Sorry for the bad subject. I'd like to do two things. - Know when a RPM which is currently in only one repository pops up in a different repository. E.g. RPM going from epel-testing to epel. - Get notified when a RPM pops up in a repository. E.g. waiting for an RPM to appear. I know that this is quite easy to find out manually. But did anyone build a script or something else to do this "automagically"? In my company we have a mix of self-build packages, epel-testing & rpmforge packages and some other obscure things. With something like I described above we would be sure when we could throw away the makeshift packages and transition to more or less stable packages from Base, Extra or EPEL. Cheers, Shorty

Apache and SSLv3

Hi list, I'm configuring apache with https and I've a question about sslv3 deactivation. Running "openssl ciphers -v" I get a list of cypher suite of openssl like: ECDH-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256 TLSv1.2 Kx=ECDH/RSA Au=ECDH Enc=AESGCM(128) Mac=AEAD ......... Each lines report relative protocol. Disabling sslv3 with "SSLProtocol all -SSLv3" I can use cypher like: ECDH-RSA-DES-CBC3-SHA SSLv3 Kx=ECDH/RSA Au=ECDH Enc=3DES(168) Mac=SHA1 that has protocol SSLv3? Disabling SSLv3 protocol, apache will use only TLSv1.2 cypher protocol? Thanks in advance. Alessandro.

CentOS 6.6 and webcams

The issue of webcams not working with recent kernels on CentOS 6.6 has come up a number of times on the list. I'm happy to report that the latest kernel (2.6.32-504.8.1) appears to have fixed the problem. However, disabling NoScript for YouTube does not change the observed behaviour. It is decidedly odd in that the Flash video will not play until one sets the enable html5 option in YouTube. One of the artifacts of switching the html5 on in YT is that upon returning to the video page the video canvas shows an error message, with the 'Try again later' tag. But simply clicking on the video frame a second time starts the video. I am not sure what is going on. I have discovered that the same approach (switching on html5 in YouTube) has solved this issue for a least one of the impacted users. I will try it on others as the occasion permits. How To Record Sound Being Played

Hey all, I've installed MuseScore on my C6.6 machine. MuseScore is able to generate a midi sounding playback through the speakers of the active score. I want to capture that sound directly to a file without using a microphone. I want to send individual sound files to each of the members of my quartet with their part only.
