BackupPC problem - wrong user

I recently moved BackupPC from CentOS-6 to CentOS-7. But when I browse to localhost/BackupPC I'm told Error: Wrong user: my userid is 48[apache], instead of 984(backuppc) As far as I can tell, the BackupPC settings are exactly the same as they were before the move. It seems htttpd is running the program as user apache rather than backuppc, as required. Nginx with php-fpm is not work

Hi, everybody, This is a new system environment. I was using YUM to install Nginx and php-fpm, every time I try to access the page, php-fpm will be crash. C6 firefox esr h.264 support on youtube

I was able to get h.264 support on www.youtube.com/html5 on fedora 21 by installing gstreamer1-libav but that package does not exist in C6 (or it's popular third party repos) What is the name of the package which adds h.264 to firefox on youtube/html5 in C6?

rsync question

I am trying to rsync the named files under /etc for backup purposes. I tried: rsync -ah --stats --delete -e "ssh -p613 -l root" 192.168.192.2:/etc/name* /home/rgm/data/htt/httnet/homebase/new/etc The stats shows it sees all the files, but only moves the dir /etc/named and the files within it. It does not move the /etc/name* files (like /etc/named.conf). By file count, it is 'seeing' all the files, but not moving them.

Oracle java RPM

Hi Everyone, Years ago the recommended way to install Sun's java was to install from the tar.gz file because the RPM they supplied did some bad things (clobbered other files or something...can't remember the details). I found i686 repo available in internal CentOS building environment, from a root.log from a mock build result[1]. latest yum update messed up chrome

I yum updated yesterday and it updated chrome from 44.x to 45.x. It runs but it has errors going to web pages and won't load its own settings/extension pages either. Now I can’t boot to a login. It stops at Reached target Graphical Interface. I reboot then pressed e at a boot line. Do I remove load_video to get just a console so I can remove the ati driver? I just removed that line and it says press Ctrl-x to start or ctrl-c fro command prompt, but all it get are x for ctrl-x on the screen and c for ctrl-c. Any ideas from here? Thanks, -wes
