Does CentOS support aspell?

I haven't run CentOS on a machine of my own for several years; but my domain (NOT the address I post from) is hosted on a machine running CentOS. The list for the mailer I run recommends using aspell, which is not installed (according to rpm -q) on the remote host, as a spellchecker. Does anybody here know offhand if CentOS supports it? Delta RPMs (drpms) for CentOS-6 and CentOS-7

We are having issues with drpms on CentOS-6 i386 and x86_64 and on CentOS-7 x86_64. The technical issues sometimes cause us to have to rebuild all drpms over again .. and the time involved is very large. Also storing the drpms and moving them around takes up a lot of space and bandwidth. We would like to remove delta rpms (drpms) from our CentOS-6 and CentOS-7 repositories. But before we do , we would like a discussion on these lists to ensure this is not going to cause people major issues. So, begin the discussion, and we will address this again in about a month. How do I disable /usr/libexec/gsd-backlight-helper on a user's WORKSTATION? This is clearly something that should NEVER, EVER be running if it's not a laptop.... mark

os-prober

Semi-OT question: os-prober is in CentOS, but I never see it running. I've got a server that's Ubuntu 18.04, and it seems to be running it every night, which confuses me - I can see no reason for that. Since ubuntu is o/t, feel free to email me offlist - the only thing I've found in some googling is to chmod -x /etc/grub.d/30_os-prober on the ubuntu system. repoview comparable alternative

It seems that in the context of EL8 the tool RepoView that creates static HTML pages out of a yum repository is obsolet because of the missing yum python modules (EL8 comes with dnf). Further more it seems also be abandoned [*] and I do not expect to appear in EPEL8. Does someone uses a similar tool to generate browseable repo HTML pages? JavaFX on C7 ?

Hi all! I'm getting: Error: JavaFX runtime components are missing, and are required to run this application for a certain Java app. I'm hoping someone can tell me what bits and pieces I need to install (and maybe where to find them) so I can satisfy that app's appetite without screwing up my system. why I can't start centos 7.6 sometimes

Hi, I make centos 7.6 usb-disk, via which CentOS 7.6 is installed. But sometimes CentOS 7.6 can't start correctly, and stopped with the following message: led to map dmar1 [ 1.881791] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: disp: conn 01:0130: func 00 lookup failed, What's the problem with CentOS?
