Bash rotating tab completion with list

I just got off a Windows 7 terminal which has rotating tab completion, this means that in the case of completion ambiguity the shell completes one of the possibilities, and subsequent tabs complete to different possibilities. This in contrast to bash's behaviour of simply printing a list of possibilities. Googling I have found that bash can in fact have rotating completion by setting "\C-i": menu-complete. However, I would really like the first tab to show the possibilities (default behaviour, albeit on the second tab), and subsequent tabs to rotate. I can't figure this out. Any ideas? Unable to grep 5 mins logs

Hi Friends! I need to prepare a script which will grep logs from the current time to previous 5 mins that is if the current time is Mon Jun 13 12:40:40 IST 2011 then all the logs between the interval Mon Jun 12:35 - 12:40 2011 should be grepped by the script and append it to another file. However, the below script is not able to grep the desired logs, so I need some help in preparing the script. What is someone trying to do?

Hi All, My Logwatch was very long today with 404 requests to the Apache server. I dont understand what the person was trying to do by what they were attempting to access. Can anyone explain a method to their madness? The whole things seems weird... CentOS 5.6 - Samba server + Windows error 233

Hi! I have upgraded my servers yesterday to CentOS 5.6 via yum update. Everything went smoothly except that i have client workstations not part of the domain that are not able to access the samba server anymore. The samba server is part of the domain. We recently added Windows 2008 R2 DC. Everything was working smoothly until the CentOS update. I had a Win7 Workstation that i had success connecting when using the "net use" command: net use g: \\sambaserver\share /user:domain\username The mapping worked right away and didn't even asked for the password. Normally, before the CentOS upgrade, i'd put \\sambaserver in the UNC line of the Windows Explorer and i'd get a box asking for credentials. Entering "domain\username" as user and giving the password in the password line was working. Not anymore. I have another XP workstation on another subnet (router wide open) and the mapping with the command line as specified above doesn't even work. flash and konqueror

I am stuck taking this stupid online training course from work. It just sits there doing nothing with firefox, so I pulled up konqueror, and tell it to lie and say it's IE. That works... until it gets to the content, which some HR moron is *positive* desperately needs to be in flash. I've gone into konqi's configuration, and told it to scan the correct directory for plugins, and yet a) I see no easy way to find out what plugins are installed, and b) it can't seem to see libflashplayer.so. Clues for the poor? mark

Hello, does anybody know of a good source for a apr-util-pgsql rpm package for CentOS 5.6 / 64 bit and even more I'm curious why isn't it included but the apr-util-mysql is included... Thank you Alex
