centosplus 4.3/x86_64 kernel-doc missing?

Hi all. I don't see a kernel-doc package for the 34.106.unsupported kernel for amd64. Is that an oversight or did centosplus decide not to include it? There is a kernel-doc for 34.EL in the main centos tree.. Thanks much. Dave Thompson UW-Madison

Timeout when downloading messages

Hi To All Gurus, Im encountering some problems on my mailserver. When my clients are downloading their emails, when they reach around 15 mails downloaded somehow the connection stops. Im using Centos4.2, Postfix and Dovecot. Any one experiece these ? tia --------------------------------- --------------------------------- Blab-away for as little as 1¢/min. Make PC-to-Phone Calls using Yahoo! Messenger with Voice.

Anyone ever implimented cfengine on 4.x ? I am just looking for background and if there are any traps to fall into? thanks

GRUB issue

Hi all, I have created a custom CD of centos. The CD instals properly but doesn't ask for ethernet card configuration, further when installation completes and system reboots then first the GRUB comes and on selecting the kernel 2.6.9 it shows the error Filesystem type is ext2fs, type is 0X03 Error 15 ........... Press any key to continue And on pressing any key it reboots. Can anybody help ? Regards Imtiyaz

Building php-5.1.2-5 and php-pear-5.1.2-5 rpms

I want to build the php-5.1.2-5 and php-pear-5.1.2-5 from the fedora devel SRPM's on CentOS 4.3. Whilst the php-5.1.2-5 builds from the php-5.1.2-5 SRPM, the 1.4.6-2 php-pear builds a php-pear-1.4.6-2 instead of php-pear-5.1.2-5 What am i doing wrong? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? CentOS 4.3 Upgrade vs Clean Reinstall

I upgraded via yum on a previously cleanly installed 4.2 and hhave had no issues. No dupliicate rpms. Has anyone had problems? I suppose had this been a 4 -> 4.1 -> 4.2 -> 4.3 this would be different. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! I point to the following *not* as a license for more experienced folks to become inordinately rude or terse with those who don't stick closely to the guidelines presented, but in the hope that some of the newer folks may have been ignorant of some of these "net common courtesies". My goal is that we'll see "better" questions than some of what we've had. It starts here http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html#asking and goes through here Don't ask people to reply by private e-mail There is more of interest and there are postings on the web that are shorter and more focused on the "do your homework and reports pertinent data", but I'm getting the feeling that a general reminder is in order. Works like a charm. I pulled a spec file off of dag, and modified it for my purposes, and built an RPM for it. There are still plenty of traps, but no more than with cfengine on any other system =).
