SeLinux Question

I do not have this directory: /etc/selinux/targeted/src/policy/domains/misc/local.te i dont have the directory src through misc in my /etc/selinux directory. How do i get these directories. Is there a rpm package i need to install? or are those just directories i make my self?

Does any know how to use pmacct. I would like to use something like this to measure network traffic on some of our hosts. I can download the package fine however i cannot find any documentation on this software anywhere. Regards, Peter K

per port ip routing -- possible?

Hello, I have a customer who has two Internet connections, cable and DSL, where the cable is much faster than the DSL connection. Is it possible in CentOS 4.2 to use the "ip route" command to direct certain outbound traffic over the faster connection, say http(s) requests? Web searches turn up solutions where NAT is involved, but this guy isn't using NAT. Example configs that show how to load balance multiple connections and ensure symmetric routing all work great, but I don't an example of per-port routing. Any pointers or example commands would be greatly appreciated. Jack

Raid 1 problems

Hi, I have setup raid on a new server and have found that if I remove one drive it will boot but if I remove the other it says missing OS. I am using two 18.2Gig SCSI drives, using software raid 1. I have it setup with the following drives in this order. /boot swap / all are mirrored between the two drives. I remember a while back that their was a problem with grub would that be the problem here? Why does it work on one drive and not the other? Thanks Mace

There was only one dependency I missed in the Centos install and the Scalix installer took care of it.

Hey All, I read on the list here not to long ago a work around for the following error on CentOS for installing the scalix mail server... Error: unsupported OS release: CentOS release 4.2 (Final) on x86_64 Someone posted a fix where you could edit a file changing the name of the OS or something to fix this. Anyone remember which file it was I could edit and what I needed to edit it too in order to make this install work? Any info would be great... Thanks! James Gagnon jamesg(a)nucleus.com

I guess that answers Steve's question from that last email... :) The problem is that grub does not update the boot block on both drives. Dig through the list archives for instructions on fixing it. -- Bowie

I don't know if grub will boot from it or not.
