PHP issue on Centos

Hello all, I'm trying to configure a web development & content management application called siteseed under centos 4.1 My centos install is a minimal with httpd, mysql php added via yum. Problem: PHP complains with errors that look like : 10.192.129.12] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: article_comment in /var/www/html/siteseed/index.php on line 112 [client 10.192.129.12] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: headline in /var/www/html/siteseed/index.php on line 170 [client The mystery is that this errors only happen in a centos 4.1 install. In a default RH9/fedora install everything works fine. All php, mysql, httpd packages are installed with no dependence issue. Any help would be appreciated, Nassri

centericq 4.21.0 on CentOS 4

Has anyone been able to install centericq 4.21.0 on CentOS 4? I've been unable to install the binary rpm from the centericq site. I've also been unable to correctly rebuild the source rpm on CentOS 4 as well. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Barry

Mirror problems

The yum headers http://master.centos.org/centos-3/3/updates/i386/headers/ and mirrored here http://master.centos.org/centos-3/3/updates/i386/headers/ are out of date. The RPM for httpd-2.0.46-46.3.ent.centos.1.i386.rpm is out but the latest headers are still for httpd-0-2.0.46-46.2.ent.centos.1.i386.hdr. Although I mirror files locally, I use the headers on the mirrors to find what I need to mirror. Compiling Apache 2.0.54 on CentOS 4.1

Has anyone gotten Apache 2.0.54 to build on CentOS 4.1? Apache 2.0.52(distrbiuted with CentOS 4.1) compiles file. [NU-BQ+CentOS] Special Chars not showing up in browsers

Greetings, I am in the process of moving several large sites to a Tyan+BQ+CentOS box (built from the Nuonce ISO) and I see that special characters are not showing up in the browser properly but do show up in the source "view source" properly. -- very strange. Example: on the web page --> Heizungsbau M?ller in the source --> Heizungsbau Müller When I view this on the existing site on my RaQ 4, it display's correctly. Restricting ftp users to their directory

Currently, a users directory is owned by the user and the group is ftp. The permissions are 775. In reading the MAN pages for vsftp, I do not see any other ways to retrict the user from just being able to view their won directory and the sub-dirs. Am I going wrong here? Also, if this SCSI controller has a BIOS, then at boot time you should be able to invoke the SCSI devices configuration and see if the tape device is listed.
