Up2date troubles

Hello all, When I go to use up to date, it gets hung up on the "Process Dialog" Fetching http://mirror.centos.org/centos/3.1/ addon/i386//headers/header.info It just stays there and doesn't move. This happens every time I go to try an update my system. Anyone else have this problem or is this a know bug? Thanks Dom _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Hi David, This is a new installation of Centos. APIC is disabled. Promise SX4000 RAID FastTrack is shown on the list of drivers CentOS but doesn't know what to do with it not it gives me an error nor displays like an available device. It would be a shame to switch to Microsoft SBS 2003 just to get this RAID card going. Hi, I haven't used that device, but I've been working several issues with a pair of 3Ware 9500's , and we've seen diferences when enabling/disabling APIC on the MB bios (could also try booting the kernel with "noapic"). SX4000Lite RAID Drivers

Hi I have tried to install Centos v3.3 with a PRomise SX4000Lite IDE RAID controller but without success. Can anyone give me a hint why ??? this is the first time that I use something besides what's included in the kernel. There is an updated spamassassin package for CentOS 3.3 (and added to 3.1) https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2004-451.html refers Updated file is :- spamassassin-2.55-3.2.i386.rpm in updates/i386/RPMS/ This is available at http://mirror.centos.org/3.1/ and should be on all mirrors within a few hours. To update to the latest version 'yum update spamassassin' should be sufficient.
