Hi all! I add another problem with todays updates: Error: Package: fence-agents-all-4.0.11-13.el7_1.x86_64 (centos7-x86_64-updates) Requires: fence-agents-compute fence-agents-compute seems to be missing. Thanks, Gerald

OT: default password for HP printer

For some reason the "tech support" people at Hewlett-Packard don't know what the default password is to access their printer's embedded web server (EWS). I got it myself from the installation manual six months ago and immediately set my own password which I have used since then, so I no longer remember what the default is. (It's really a longer story than that, but....) So I was just hoping that someone here might know what that default password is. Mine is an Officejet Pro 8620, but perhaps some other, recent HP printer default password would work. (Yes, I've already tried various versions of "admin", an empty password, and others, but just not anything which has worked.)

Recording piano and voice

The last time I wanted to record a voice announcement on my computer was a few years back, and as I recall I hooked up my Microsoft Lifechat headset and used Audacity to do the recording. Now I want to record a "recitation", which consists of me playing my piano and talking over it. I have a Casio CDP-230 digital piano but I've never tried hooking it up to my computer and making a recording. It does have a USB midi port on it, but I've never used it. Has anyone else done something like this? CentOS 7, systemd, pNFS - hosed

I just updated a server that's running CentOS 7. I do have elrepo enabled, because this Rave computer has four early Tesla cards. It won't boot. Nor can I get it to boot with either of the other two kernels, and I'll be the one that worked was erased. *Once* it complained that it couldn't fsck the large filesystem (IIRC, it's XFS). The other four-five times, I get pNFS something Dependency, failed, systemd freezing execution. So far, I'm googling, and not finding anything like this. Has anyone run into this, or have any suggestions? If I could get back to the fsck failure, I could at least tell it to ignore /dev/sdb.... mark

Once a lookup is successfully resolved then that data is customarily cached in the local dns server for the Time To Live value associated with the A/AAAA RR obtained. There are some services that are particularly sensitive to DNS resolver time. SMTP MTA and MDA services are notoriously sensitive to DNS delays and configuration errors. It a standard practice to run a caching only DNS resolver service on SMTP MTA's simply to answer requests generated by the HELO/EHELO verification processes. A caching only resolver does what its name implies.
