Hi, im trying to create a trimmed down version of centos. just the base installation no services or anything, if i can trim it down to kernel bash and yum only working that would be great. What programs and dependencies i need for this kind of installation? thanks!

Question about centosplus kernel and jfs...

Hello I run the latest kernel from centosplus and use a JFS partition. Even though the jfs tools are installed, when the server crashes, it doesn't run fsck.jfs automatically when at boot time it detects that the partition is corrupted I have to run fsck.jfs manually and mount the drive. Is there a way to make fsck.jfs run automatically if required ? (I recently moved from Fedora to CentOS, so pardon my ignorance here) Thank you Jean-Yves

Questions about kernel updates

The latest CentOS 5 kernel, 2.6.18-8.1.15.el5 broke my box and I had to drop back to 2.6.18-8.1.14.el5 before I could play DVDs with either Xine or mplayer. ( xine-0.99.5-1.el5.rf & mplayer-1.0-0.36.rc1try2.el5.rf ). This is no big deal to me -- as long as I can make certain that the older kernel doesn't go away. If I understand the installonly plugin correctly, an entry of tokeep=4 in /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/installonlyn.conf will cause yum to leave the working kernel in place through 2 more upgrades. Aside from setting tokeep to an insanely large value, is there any way to insure that yum will concern itself only with installing updates, allowing me to deal with tossing the old stuff? Also, is my understanding of the "tokeep" value in installonlyn.conf correct? Thanks! --

The clonezilla live project is a really nice way to do image-copies of machines: http://clonezilla.sourceforge.net/clonezilla-live/ but it's based on a Debian live OS which has some unfamiliar quirks. Has anyone built something like this on a Centos base? For anyone who hasn't seen it, it can do whole disk or partition copies of windows and most Linux filesystems and it knows enough to only copy the used parts of the disk. Among other tricks, it can also build a bootable iso image containing itself and one or more images that you can load directly from the cd/dvd. -- Les Mikesell lesmikesell(a)gmail.com

tftp-server

Hello, I have just installed Centos 5 and I have some problem with tftp-server. I use the same configuration like with Centos 4.4. With Centos 4.4 everything works properly. With Centos 5 DHCP server sends IP address to the client and client is booting. I can see: TFTP prefix: /lts/2.6.20.9-ltsp-1/ Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/01-00-0c-29-62-e2-ed Trying to load: pxelinux.cfg/C0A8001D (several trials of loading and at the end I receive: # boot: When I switch dhcp and tftp servers to Centos 4.4 (using the same config files) everything comes back to the order. Help with GTK and putty

I'm trying to install the latest version of putty GUI ssh client on my C5 box, but get the error: ./configure: line 2353: syntax error near unexpected token '1.2.0,' ./configure: "AM_PATH_GTK(1.2.0, all_targets="all-cli all-gtk", all_targets="all-cli)' What am I missing? I thought I had GTK fully installed. Maybe I don't? I tried a yum install *gtk* and *GTK* and got through that fine. What else? Thanks. Scott

atmail & centos

hi friends, i'm researching to see if i can run my own email server on centos. i'm looking at qmail & centos, but the problem that i have is it doesn't have the web interface that can similar with outlook. our users don't like squirrelmail, or NOCC, or horde interfaces) however, i found atmail.com and it seems to have what i'm looking for b/c it's kindda integrate with outlook (i don't know how good it is) does any one here have any thoughts/suggestions about atmail on centos 5? or is there anything like atmail out there that i can use to run email server on centos 5. thank you for any helps. what is the default file-max in /proc

Hello What is the default or recommended file-max in /proc/sys/fs/ ? I remember that having a large number of open files or sockets make system be unstable, and now that I am checking my server the file-max is about 386466 . Is opened sockets will be added to opened files as well. Thanks

help diagnosing tftp server on centos 5

Hi all, I have a centos 5 box I have setup, current with updates. (I have done this many times on centos 4). I did the yum install tftp-server, changed the /etc/xinetd.d/tftp file as shown. # default: off # description: The tftp server serves files using the trivial file transfer \ # protocol. The tftp protocol is often used to boot diskless \ # workstations, download configuration files to network-aware printers, \ # and to start the installation process for some operating systems. service tftp { socket_type = dgram protocol = udp wait = yes user = root server = /usr/sbin/in.tftpd server_args = -v -s /tftpboot disable = no per_source = 11 cps = 100 2 flags = IPv4 } Did the service xinetd restart. Now from another computer on the network I am trying manually "tftp IP -c get myfile" and nothing happens. /tftpboot permissions are: drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 4096 Oct 2 16:26 tftpboot the myfile is also world readable in that directory. I have disabled the iptables "service iptables stop". I ran "tcpdump port 69" to show me all tftp traffic an I see NOTHING when I manually run the tftp command above on another computer. The second computer can ssh into the server no problem. I can, on the server, to tftp localhost -c get myfile and that works fine. What or HOW can I determine why I cannot tftp from that machine? restore to different hardware?

Is there a HOWTO or checklist that covers the typical steps to back up a working machine and restore it to a machine with different disk controllers and network cards? I've muddled through it a time or two, sometimes rebuilding the initrd, sometimes doing a dummy install just to get a working /boot and modprobe.conf, sometimes copying the /boot partition from a machine with identical hardware and / from the one I want to restore, but I always forget some detail - like fixing modprobe.conf or fstab, or making sure that the kernel versions are at the same rev when copying /boot and / from different sources. If there are other differences, they can be patched up fairly easily once the machine boots and is on the network. -- Les Mikesell lesmikesell(a)gmail.com

Network issue after new kernel install

Hello CentOS list, On all of my CentOS 5 VMWare ESX3 virtual machines (about 15), after installing a new kernel and rebooting the machine, the Network script tries to run dhclient and can't determine the IP info (since I don't run a dhcpd server... it's a static IP only lan). This also backs up my ifcfg-eth0 file to ifcfg-eth0.bak and writes a new ifcfg-eth0 that has dhcpd with no IP info. Copying the ifcfg-eth0.bak to ifcfg-eth0 and running /etc/init.d/network start or ifup eth0 brings my network back up. This is an example of what one of my ifcfg-eth0 files looks like... # Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] 79c970 [PCnet32 LANCE] DEVICE=eth0 BROADCAST=69.x.x.x #HWADDR=00:50:56:9C:19:7D IPADDR=69.x.x.x IPV6ADDR= IPV6PREFIX= NETMASK=255.255.255.0 NETWORK=69.x.x.0 ONBOOT=yes Any ideas? If I understand what you want to do, you can use the builtin ssh ProxyCommand Let's say you want to connect from your home machine to various machines in the .imag.fr domain, going through sshgate.imag.fr (the only host in imag.fr that is accessible by ssh from the outside). On the home client, make a file called config in your ~/.ssh/ dir. Mine looks something like this: [nico@localhost ~]$ cat ~/.ssh/config Host *.imag User nico ProxyCommand ssh nico(a)sshgate.imag.fr "nc $(basename %h .imag) %p" Then I can type "ssh host1.imag", and it works. It's also fine with sftp, scp, and pretty much anything that runs over ssh. nc has to be installed on sshgate, but it most probably is (might be called netcat). tftp on centos 5

Hi all, I have setup tftp on centos 4 before an it worked. I am not setting up tftp on centos 5. I have added many -v -v -v -v to the tftp config file. /var/log/messages shows me connection from the IP address - but no errors. My client eventually times out as the file is not being provided. It works by the way on localhost, just not from a client. selinux is turned off. I iptables turned off. tftp is running and my files are in /tftpboot everything is read accesss. I did the yum install tftp-server as normal. Nothing is in my hosts.allow and hosts.deny why might my client be timing out... Thanks, Jerry

Wierd Networking Problem

Hi Guys, I'm 100% sure this is not a Linux issue but I want a second opinion... I have a Linux server running CentOS. It was been absolutely perfect without any errors or problems. Since Monday it has been unable to send email. It is configured to act as a smart host. All email gets forwarded to smtp.isp.net. The server is on a network behind a firewall completely nat'd. No ports are forwarded to it. telnet smtp.isp.net 25 generates the following: Trying a.b.c.d... Connected to smtp.isp.net. Escape character is '^]'. And then nothing. All other machines can connect to smtp.isp.net 25 without a problem. They also use that host for their outgong mail server. Using links to surf the web has a similar result. It just hangs traceroute and nslookups work correctly. There are no errors anywhere. The network in question has various routing and vlan configurations, proxy servers and such. I tend to suspect they're the problem. They're also not in my control. The firewall does show the Linux box attempting to make SMTP connections but nothing else. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. I have not yet rebooted the server. Shawn

Systems management with "func" (new Fedora project)

There's a systems management app several of us are working on in Fedora space many of you may be interested in... https://hosted.fedoraproject.org/projects/func/ Basically func is a way to address multiple-systems at once, like SSH, but with much easier certificate distribution and pluggable XMLRPC modules (written in Python), and easy scriptability. Func's certmaster can also be used to distribute certificates to other programs for use in their communications. You can read more on the project page. There are some interesting demo apps bundled with it, like an inventory application (that uses git for storing differences), and a script which can tell you which computers on your network have exploding laptop batteries :) There are also some neat modules that can gather data from nagios plugins without having to actually have nagios installed. Anyhow, if you are interested, check out the project page and join the mailing list. We have func already submitted to Fedora, it should be in EPEL shortly, and if someone wants to include this in CentOS testing that's great too. We are very interested in people contributing new modules and scripts for things they find interesting/useful. Feedback/ideas/comments welcome. Thanks! --Michael

Hi, It seems to me, that kernel-2.6.18-8.1.15 is maybe not ok. I have been trying to rebuild my patched kernel RPMS in virtual machine running i686 kernel-2.6.18-8.1.15. It had failed for the three times with segmentation fault. First run under kernel-2.6.18-8.1.14 went smoothly. So, maybe it's a kernel issue or it's VMWare (Server 1.04). bugzilla on C5?

I'd like to test/play with bugzilla on my CentOS 5 system. I tried yum install bug* but that came up empty. I tried a google for yum install bugzilla and found a few people who had apparently done it... I then went to the bugzilla web site and downloaded 3.0.2, extracted it to a directory of my choice, then visited the Quickstart file. Initial trial of perl -MCPAN -e 'install GD::Graph' yields some errors I'm not versed in deciphering on how to fix. Help is most appreciated. Thanks. Scott

I put together a CD with Open-exchange 0.8.6-5 and more, based on Centos 4.4 When installing the CD, all required software is installed, all that is needed after Os install is to run a config script, that make if fit your enviroment Dependig on the speed on your CDrom the installation should take no more than 30 minutts It install the following: - Open-Exchange 0.8.6-5 - Samba PDC - A PDF printer - Wildfire, a jabber server (for chating ) - Avaadm - Jetti, (jabber webclient) - Squid - Nameserver ( needed when join machins to domain) - Smartsive and websive - Antivirus - Syncml ( but i havent got it to work with any of my clients ) Since it could be so difficult to install, I put this together CD, and I guess allso others would have some use for it Its aviliable for download here http://ntx.waerdahl.net Tronn

Boot Log Problems

Hi, I have just updated from CentOS 4 to 5 and I am seeing a problem with udev during booting, but I am unable to track it down as it looks like the boot.log is not working. The file is there but empty and the previous log only lists events up to the point at which I upgraded. syslog.conf looks ok to me in so much as there is an entry pointing to /var/log/boot.log. Any suggestions as to what I should be looking at? Rob

Hi, I bought an USB external hdd (500GB) to make my backups using dump... but, sometimes my sever recognize the hdd device /dev/sdb or /dev/sdc... my question is: How can I assign a fixed device for example /dev/sdc to my hdd? remember I use some scripts to do my backup and I am getting errors because the device changes from sdb to sdc and thanks in advance Israel __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Interpreting audit logs?

Whenever I review audit logs, it is difficult for me to determine if an account was logged in at an usual day/time because there is no timestamp next to any entry, at least as I interpret the format. How, then do I properly and successfully review the audit log entries based on a date/time stamp? Also, how can I filter out root and sudo account entries, displaying everyone else in audit? Thanks. accurate file size

Hello I was copying some files from one server to other, that I relized the total file size ( sum of all files ) in one server is a bit more than the one that copied from ( about 6 when I do du -s ) individual file sizes are identical, when I do one by one file comparison, but the sum is different. is there any more accurate way to make sure of integrity of the file. ( other than pgp or signature ) Thanks

All, I am playing with virtualization on centos 5. I took my old redhat 7 disks and created a 10GIG virtual disk, I installed redhat 7. Now I am trying to get the EXACT image copied off of my actual redhat 7 disk so that I know it is the same (including all patches, updates and OTHER things I did to it that I have forgotten about). I booted the redhat 7 image just fine at this point. I also copied it for backup so I dont have to install again. So on my centos 5 box I mounted the image with a loop command. mount -t ext3 -o loop,offset=32256 redhat7.img /mnt/image This works fine. Then I logged into the redhat 7 system and executed the command tar --exclude ./proc --exclude ./mnt --exclude ./sys --exclude ./dev -cvf - . | ssh root(a)192.168.1.8 "( cd /mnt/image ; tar xvpf -)" Where 192.168.1.8 is my centos 5 box and /mnt/image the mounted image. The copy seems to go fine. But after I do this when I try to virtualize the redhat7 image it stops at: GRUB When I copy the second image back on top of the first image it then boots again. So glad I made that copy of the image file. What is happening with the tar command that is messing up grub and keeping it from booting? Thanks, Jerry

Large scale Postfix/Cyrus email system for 100,000+ users

I'm trying to set up a large scale email system that supports 100,000+ IMAP accounts. We have an existing frontend web interface that does a lookup on a mysql db to figure out which IMAP server to connect to for each user. For the email infrastructure we have decided on Postfix and Cyrus. We have configured both to use mysql to get the virtual user information. Because of the way that the infrastructure is (biz reasons) we are not doing shared storage, we have numerous IMAP servers that we distribute accounts across. As we add more users, we image up a new IMAP server. For our business's scaling purposes this was the best plan. What I am having a problem is how do I get postfix to transfer the email to the particular IMAP server that the user account is on. I know that I need to use lmtp and transport, but all the examples I have seen show forwarding all email to 1 IMAP server. I would like Postfix to do a lookup for each mailbox and determine which IMAP server to deliver it to. Anyone have a working example that they could share? It would be greatly appreciated. thanks -matt

mp3 recorder?

I have my tape deck connected to my PC's line-in port, but Audacity's unstable release is unable to pick up the audio, though when I select the proper device and play with the volume control in the app, the audio does change. What other mp3 capture programs do people use? My goal is to simply capture each side of a tape to mp3, then use Audacity to break each song to its own mp3 file. Thanks. Scott

Can you get away with taking new kernels from kernel.org and making rpms out of them to use with Centos 5.0 without it effecting anything else or having to upgrade anything else? Found an error or two from my logwatch report from yesterday, thought I would share this in hopes this is just first time run of the problem I noticed in the Kernel report section... Also not sure why there's an issue with automount either.... but I guess I could ask on that issue as well. All - desperate plea for help here. Overview Centos 4.5 Kernel 2.6.9.55.0.9.EL with source dell Latitude 810 Im totally at my wits end... Ive tried like mad to get ndiswrapper to work for my lynksys WPC54GS wireless card. No matter what I try ndis gives some kind of error on installing the module after about a dozen attempts 8 kernels, and 5 days- I finally GAVE UP! unreal So, I install the http://www.linuxant.com/company/ ever$ion (im not above paying $20 to save me a few wasted days) this program dosnt have a problem detecting the card, making the lights blink, I cane see the access point using iwlist scan, I know precisely what the essid is, as well as the encryption key, BUT now.... the stupid thing cant get an ip form my dhcp server!! Please help - some kind of sanity check, Im ready to jump out the window!! ;) Im up for ANY solution, I can install kernel source.. ndis bla... I just need some thing that will work. At this point i have an incredibly low opinion of the developers of ndis - that shouldn't not release such stuff. Ive followed the dcs to the letter and either the kernal compile puked... or ndis chokes on some flyshit in a function.... unreal! Anyway I do have this working on the same laptop but I did it about a year ago and cnat find the 1.37 version of ndis. At tthis point ndis is just too picky Anyone??? Thnaks Bob

rsync bug with --relative and --delete fixed in CentOS5?

Yohoo! I'm using rsnapshot-1.3.0-1.el5.rf (from DAG) and rsync-2.6.9-1.el5.rf (from CentOS5) together. Rsnapshot now starts every task with the "--relative" switch. Without this switch it will backup all subsequent folders (like /proc and so on) which isn't desired. So I can't omit the "--relative". But there was a bug for rsync prior to 2.6.9 that it won't delete files from the destination directory when "--relative" and "--delete" are used together. See at http://samba.anu.edu.au/ftp/rsync/rsync-2.6.9-NEWS for this. Now I figured out that this bug is fixed in FedoraCore5. See http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-package-announce/2007-February/msg001… .html The version there is rsync-2.6.9-1.FC5.1. In CentOS5 I have rsync-2.6.9-1.el5.rf Now my question is if this bug is fixed in CentOS5/ RHEL5? Hi I am sure the answer here is really easy but i am stuck! # mount | grep data | awk '{print$1,$2,$3}' gives me the info i require locally, however i need to execute this over about 1000 hosts so i run things remotely using ssh something like # MOUNTER=`ssh $i 'mount | grep data | awk '{print$1,$2,$3}''` however this fails as at the end of the line there are 2 ticks eg ' together - Can anyone offer me some syntax help please? thanks

Hi all, I've the same problem, I've download the CentOS-5.0-x86_64-bin-DVD.iso from one centos mirror, i've applied deltaiso and the created image is 2 GB, the md5sum check of iso.delta (CentOS-5.0-x86_64-bin-DVD-ich9.iso.delta) is ok, what's wrong ? deltaiso program exit on the same as Michael , maybe I've downloaded the worng DVD 64 bit iso version? do you know any good mirror link for that? thank you in advance Simone

Xen crashes?

Is anyone else having problem with Xen Crashes or can provide hints why this happens? I can resolve it by restarting /etc/init.d/xendomains but I'm curios why it happens, the machine is running 64bit Centos 5, 16GB memory. Hi All, I have a Trixbox server (CentOS derivative) from which our Cisco IP phones get their config files via TFTP. I have noticed that when I run the TFTP server via "service xinetd start", I am not able to get files via TFTP. I have tested it by doing a manual transfer via a TFTP client from another machine. When I try to run the TFTP service manually by doing "/usr/sbin/in.tftpd -l", I do not encounter any problem whatsoever? Any pointers regarding this issue? Do I have to enable anything else? Hi, Does anyone have a pointer to correct documantation for generating and installing a self signed ssl cert for use on httpd on a C-5 machine? The docs say to use genkey but AFAIK upstream rm'd crypto-utils from the distro and as such it is not available. rolling your own kernel - guidelines?

Let's say I want to use a much newer kernel - even one from the future, such as the upcoming 2.6.24. :-) What would y'all smart folks do in this case, in order to avoid any possible nasty consequences? Would you import the config file from the original CentOS5 kernel into the new kernel, and let the kernel deal with the differences? Using raid 1 for rollback purposes

Hi All, For quite some time I've used raid 1 as a means of providing a rollback mechanism for an upgrade (which I learned from others long ago). So essentially, before an upgrade you split the mirrors and upgrade one side or the other. If your upgrade goes well you sync one way, if your upgrade does not you sync the other (much hand waving and chanting going on, as its more complicated than that, but that is the essence of the solution). Recently, I was asked to do the same thing but with a raid 1+0 solution. Its easy, enough to break the raid 1 volumes underneath, but then how do I use the broke off volumes to form the duplicate strip. Pictures may help. Hey guys I am running CentOS 5 with httpd 2.2.3 I am trying to configure mod_authnzldap authing against Active Directory and I have it working about 50% of the time. About 50% of the time this works with no issue, the rest of the time it fails. DNS CNAME question

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this question (and if so, please point me to a better listserv), but is there anything "wrong" RFC or best practice wise with pointing a CNAME record to a DNS server? (I'm using EveryDNS.net, and I'd like to make my CNAME records ns1-> 4.myDomain.com correspond to ns1->ns4.EveryDNS.net.)

nscd problem

Hi All, I just enabled nscd to see if I can speed up some operations on our large NFS/NIS environment, however, now that I've enabled nscd I am no longer able to sudo. Cronjob script with date stamp?

I have a cron job that calls a shell script - the script invokes dump. I'd like to do two things: - Have the script dump the results of the job to a text file. I tried this with /path/to/dump my switches -v >> /home/me/dump.log But that just produced an empty file. - Have the dump file be date-stamped with the date it was executed. Right now, I manually edit the script to change the filename to the date the dump will be taken. To get a differential dump, would I have dump produce its output to the same file each time? I would not want to overwright the existing contents. I'm currently dumping to a file on an external hard drive, but will eventually go to tape. Thanks for feedback. Scott

Migrate CentOS 3 to 4 to 5?

Hi, After the previous debacle with PHP and MySQL it has been decided that we think about an upgrade from CentOS 3 to 5, since that would solve our problem, if successful. I tried finding information on how to best attempt this, but thanks to a plethora of contradictory information my head is now spinning with a few rpm (rounds per minute). The situation is as follows: Remote box at our host who offers CentOS 3 as the most up-to-date OS, unless you pay them an unholy amount of money for RHEL or Windows licences. Popping in a CD for an upgrade does not work for us. We can and will have the OS restored to a clean post-install state prior to updating. I have little intimate knowledge with CentOS, RPMs or yum, but general good UNIX experience. I know "live" yum migrations are greatly discouraged, but it seems to work for people. The most detailed instructions I seemed to be able to find are here: http://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=382 Can anybody confirm this to work, is there anything else that's implied but not spelled out? dovecot fails to start at boot, but starts manually

dovecot-1.0-1.2.rc15.el5 on CentOS 5 I reboot the server and dovecot fails to start. But I can then issue "service dovecot start" and it starts up just fine. How to debug? I don't see anything in /var/log/messages nor /var/log/maillog. I did have to set SELinux to permissive (in /etc/selinux/config), as dovecot can't get at its SSL certs. I'm debugging that independently. (SELinux is also disabled for clamav, another item to debug.)

VMware not correctly configured for running kernel

Something happened over the weekend power-related on my VMware test server, and when I came back and restarted my VMware server box (running CentOS), I got the following message: "VMware Server is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured for the running kernel. To (re-)configure it, invoke the following command: /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl." I ran that .pl script, answered all the questions (just entering in the default values), and all seems to work ok now. Is this someting VMware related? CentOS 4 related? Or possibly some misconfiguration on my part? This box has been working fine for months (and has been rebooted many times), so I'm not sure what "changed" (certainly nothing on the host OS level). Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

yum update question and kernel-smp-devel

I have a local yum repository for CentOS4, and from time to time I add new (custom) kernel RPMS. However, when I run 'yum update' on an SMP box, yum 'installs' the new kernel, kernel-devel and kernel-smp packages, but 'updates' the kernel-smp-devel package. i.e. I end up with multiple versions of the kernel, kernel-devel and kernel-smp packages, but only the latest kernel-smp-devel What do I need to do to get the kernel-smp-devel RPMS to 'install' instead of 'update'? Quota inside chroot environment

Hi List, I have users chroot'ed on a CentOS 5 server. They should be able to check their current disk usage with the quota command. Basically, it works - however, there are some drawbacks I hope someone can help me on: In order for the user to access the aquota.user file I hard-linked it into the users root. Unfortunately the users do not 'see' any changes in disk usage until quotaoff/on is executed. I have a FreeBSD 5.3 server with the same setup where this step is not required. I also noticed while quota is enabled I cannot even create the hard link on the aquota.user file into a users root. Can someone explain what's wrong about my setup or does anyone have another approach to get quotas working for chroot'ed users? David

group descriptors corrupted on ext3 filesystem

I am unable to mount an ext3 filesystem on RHEL AS 2.1. This is not the boot or root filesystem. When I try to mount the file system, I get the following error: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdj1, or too many mounted file systems When I try to run e2fsck -vvfy /dev/sdj1 I get the following error: Group descriptors look bad... trying backup blocks... Segmentation fault When I try running e2fsck -b 294912 -vvfy /dev/sdj1 (providing backup superblock location ..which I tried several of) I get the following error: Segmentation fault In dmesg, after trying to mount the filesystem, I get the following error: EXT3-fs: group descriptors corrupted ! EXT3-fs error (device sd(8,145)): ext3_check_descriptors: Block bitmap for group 128 not in group (block 523)! Any ideas? Thanks, Barry
