Is there a way to enable the below entry in /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg file. I did search using yum and dnf package manager on CentOS Stream release 8 but unable to locate livestatus.o addon or install it. broker_module=/opt/local/livestatus/livestatus.o /tmp/live.sock Any help will be highly appreciable. OT Help: Zoneminder

Sorry for the off topic post but I have run out of options an hoping someone here can help. I have been running Zoneminder for a very long time. Its had its bumps in the road as anything else but generally works well. Currently running Zoneminder 1.36.8 on CentOS 7 . The problem started back in June after an upgrade. When events are played back, the first one plays fine, then it's a blur as in the faster than light drive kicks in. Supposedly, there is supposed to be some kind of pause between event playback that keeps this from happening. I posted this issue on their forum, https://forums.zoneminder.com/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=30955&p=122258#p122258 and on their Github, https://github.com/ZoneMinder/zoneminder/issues/3359 but have had no replies. There is a similar issue on github back in 2015, but the file in question has been changed since that time. I have thought about uninstalling and re-installing the version that was working prior to the upgrade but I don't think its Zoneminder. I think it could be something else causing the problem. The problem occurs when playing back events using Firefox and Edge on a Win10 PC and it does the same playing back events with Firefox on the server itself. TIA

MATE 1.20 test build for CentOS 7 available

Hi everyone, There's been discussions in the past about updating MATE RPMs in EPEL-7: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1436260 https://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos/2019-August/173154.html (and lots of others...) As a proof-of-concept, I've written some scripts that clone specific commits from the Fedora master branches, and then runs a tool to re-apply RPM scriptlets that are required by EL7 but removed from the Fedora .spec files. The scripts are available at: https://github.com/gebailey/mate-rpms/tree/master/1.20/el7 There's also instructions there if you want to try upgrading to MATE 1.20 w/o rebuilding them yourself. If these packages work for others, perhaps we can revisit the idea of updating the epel7 branches of the Fedora git repos and submitting an official update. There's nothing here (yet) about building MATE 1.22 (which might require a newer gcc for EL7), or building anything on CentOS 8, but thought the CentOS 7 users might find this helpful. -Greg

Boot time in wtmp is not correct

When I do who -b; uptime I get system boot 2021-10-12 17:05 16:36:09 up 30 min, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00 As you can see the boot time reported by the last command is ahead. I have noted it is one hour ahead after a reboot. I have checked the system time in the BIOS before booting Linux and it is correct. -- Gerard Hooton.

nftables not working (missing kernel modules?)

It seems like I'm missing some modules or something? I can't seem to load the default /etc/nftables/main.nft on my CentOS 8 ISO. C7: NM and changing MAC addresses

Postfix and virtual mail boxes.

Hi, not sure this is the best place to go for my problem, but hoping someone can point me to the correct or better place. I have two currently working CentOS 7 based email servers that host a number of virtual domains and users and delivers mail just fine - for correctly addressed vmail inboxes AND for alias addressed emails and domains. These all use postfix, dovecot, amavisd, clamAV, spamassassin, mysql (mariadb) and roundcubemail I use port 25 for the world email delivery - no auth needed as only accepts hosted virtual domain addressed email. and port 587 for user client MUA to send mail - smtp with STARTTLS auth needed port 993 for MUA IMAP access to account mail boxes A couple of weeks ago I rolled up a new minimal virtual server (also CentOS 7) and basically copied the same setup as the other two and have now spent far too long trying to get it going. My initial problem was that I set up mydestination to include $mydomain - this has the consequence of seeing any mail@$mydomain as local email and trying to deliver to the local machine rather than the vmail inboxes. So after setting up a new domain just for the MX we moved on. All three installations use mysql (mariadb) as the data store for domains, alias domains, user vmail accounts, and forwardings (virtual alias mapping) The mysql bits work just fine as I can send mail from an MUA client and they deliver correctly via an authenticated session on port 587 - i.e to any world email address AND to local vmail boxes, including those addressed via an alias and/or alias domain. What fails to work on the new installation, but works fine on my two legacy servers, is mail addressed via an alias. Specifically an alias domain. Even adding the complete alias email address to the forwardings table doesn't work. e.g. let's say we have an email domain '@example.com' and an alias domain '@example.org'. Needed so I can migrate my clients from one server to the other in a staged manner. Thus the new server is set up to operate as the MX for @example.org and @example.com but needs to alias redirect the incoming emails being sent to fred(a)example.org and deliver them to the vmail location for fred(a)example.com (i.e. we have no vmail locations for @example.org only for @example.com So if I send a test email via my MUA (using port 587 and hence authenticated) it does the alias lookups and translations needed and correctly delivers the mail. However if I send an email to fred(a)example.org from say a gmail account, it arrives at my new server and promptly gets bounced with a 550 5.7.1 error - no such email address. After doing diff on the main.cf and master.cf from all three servers the only differences are the myhostname, mynetworks (new one is dual stack IP4/IPv6 and thus includes [::1]/128), smtpd_tls certificate names, and the virtual_uid_maps - all expected and accounted for. master.cf are identical Many dozens of google searches and reading far too many pages, has left me with no idea why my new server doesn't accept alias directed emails via port 25. All the documentation indicates that alias lookups and translations are performed by postfix - all the time. receive_override_options is not set. Any suggestions of things to check or test would be welcome. TIA Rob

how to set a directory to system_u?

Hi, I'm trying to a lable a directory for ejabberd to store files that were uploaded with the http_upload module. Apparently I should set this to 'system_u:object_r:ejabberd_var_lib_t:s0' since all the files in /var/lib/ejabberd are. Installing openLDAP on Centos 7

I am following the howto on https://linuxhostsupport.com/blog/how-to-install-ldap-on-centos-7/ which matches a number of other howto's. I have tried this on two Centos 7 boxes and both fail in the same way when trying to set the certificates. I have tried <insert search engine here> without success. I found that by adding '-d 1' you enable debugging, but the debugging did not help. Anyone got any suggestions? All steps prior to this worked successfully. The documentation about this totally sucks, and I couldn't find any answer that would work with a search engine, either. When I try to use the bus and port attributes, I'm getting domain verification errors from virsh edit. Is it even possible to pass an usb port or hub through? I just need one USB port in the guest.

Upgrading CentOS from 7 to 8

Hi, I'm doing some tests of upgrading CentOS from 7 to 8 reading this step-by-step guide: https://netshopisp.medium.com/how-to-upgrade-linux-servecentos-7-to-centos-… I'm trying this upgrade in a VM, so I can save "snapshots" and restart in a past saved point. However, all my test ends wrong, exacly in Step 4 when I run "rpm -e `rpm -q kernel`". Then, systems says that some packages are kernel dependencies. After I remove that dependencies, I can't remove kernel... Anybody has tested process upgrade from 7 to 8? Thanks.

The way we did in place upgrades from CentOS 6 to 7 for our network appliance VMs: 1. Take a backup of our appliance (database, settings, uploads, etc.). Store the backup on a separate partition/volume. 2. Copy the CentOS 7 Minimal .iso, with our added packages, to the backup partition/volume (disk.iso in the below code). 3. Copy the initrd and vmlinuz images to the boot partition (cp loop/isolinux/vmlinuz loop/isolinux/initrd.img /boot/). 4. Backup the current GRUB config (cp /boot/grub/grub.conf /boot/grub/grub.conf.bakupgrade). 5. Copy our custom kickstart file to the boot partition/volume. 6. Hello. I have installed a new Centos 8 VM and trying to install net-snmp as I did already a 100 times. But this install is stressing me :-) I get the error in the subject when starting the snmpd daemon. I am 100% shure that there is no duplicate address on this machine. It has two IPv6 addresses in it's /64 range but the error speaks about IPv4. And it has just one IPv4 on the public interface and an internal IPv4 (private range) on its internal interface. Tried to create a new snmpd.conf file with "snmpconf -g basic_setup" but it gives always the same error. Anybody had this problem already? Thanks for any suggestions how to resolve this.

Hello I have a very old server. It's running Centos 6.9. (end of life) "mod_ssl" for httpd is not installed. The package I need is "mod_ssl-2.2.15-69.el6.centos.x86_64.rpm". Or I need a library file that I can load manually. Can you help with this? (Website PHP5.4. We can't migrate it for now. Too many old settings. We can't update it either. ) Thanks.

In CentOS Stream 8, A yum upgrade just upgraded platform-python to platform-python-3.6.8-41.el8.x86_64.rpm. The upgrade wouldn't go through until I removed python3-tkinter-3.6.8-40.el8.x86_64. Now I want to reinstall python3-tkinter, and the only version yum is offering is 3.6.8-40, and it offers to downgrade platform-python to 3.6.8-41. python3-tkinter-3.6.8-37.el8.x86_64.rpm python3-tkinter-3.6.8-38.el8.x86_64.rpm python3-tkinter-3.6.8-39.el8.x86_64.rpm python3-tkinter-3.6.8-40.el8.x86_64.rpm python3-tkinter-3.6.8-41.el8.x86_64.rpm How do I get yum/dnf to let me install the "right" one (3.6.8-41)?

how to display/create DUID?

Hi, I would like to assign an ipv6 address through the DHCPv6 server of pfsense. To configure a static address, I need to tell the DHCPv6 server a DUID. Apparently DUIDs belong to a particular machine and aren't supposed to ever change unless you re-install the operating system. I guess every network card would need it's DUID because devices can have multiple network adapters, though ... and what happens when you change out the card? IIUC, the DUID is required to ask for/get ipv6 addresses from a DHCPv6 server. So there must be a way to create one, and perhaps it has already been created. Does networkmanager do that? So how/where do find I this DUID on my server?

external USB drives, strange result on reawaking

My backup system (using amanda) stores its data on external drives in a single 4 bay USB enclosure. As these drives are only needed during backup or recovery operations I have used hdparm to enable them go to an idle state after a period of inactivity. If I attempt to access any of the data when the drives are sleeping I get a strange result. Suppose I try to list one of the mountpoints, "ls .../D2", there is the expected delay while the 4 drives spin up and then ls completes with no output. I know each of the 4 drives has 40 subdirectories under the mount point. And each of the 3 other reawakened drive lists properly. But the directory I used to awaken the drives lists as empty. This effect is not limited to inititally listing a mount point. Had my command been "ls .../D2/DS1-044", DS1-044 would appear empty, but DS1-043 and all other similar directories list properly. Further, if I attempt to access a file I know exists in DS1-044 by its explicit name, that succeeds. It is like having execute permission, but not read permission on the directory. If I unmount and re-mount the filesystem, all is normal. Any clues as to why this happens, or ways to make the invisible visable again without the unmount/mount sequence? Jon -- Jon H. Connecting an android tablet to CentOS

How to keep audio active?

Hi, how can I keep audio active --- or at least make it come back right away --- after there was no audio for a few seconds? It takes some seconds for the audio to come back, like when a movie was paused and playback is being resumed. I either have to scroll back or miss out on the audio, and that's totally annoying. It also means that I can't hear any notifications because the notification has finished playing long before the audio is back. I tried options snd-hda-intel power_save=0 pm_blacklist=1 power_save_controller=0 in /etc/modprobe.d/snd_hda_intel.conf, and it didn't change anything. Audio comes from an NVIDIA card connected to a display port. Disabling power management of the audio controller on the card didn't help, either. All applications playing audio are affected.

GNOME UI / gnome-shell broken

hello CentOS7 users, I have an up-to-date Scientific Linux 7 (_very_ similar to CentOS7). The problem is that if one user (we have central homes) logs into any machine, we only see a desktop with icons, but no window decorations or top/bottom bars ("panels") (for both gnome-classic and gnome3). I can fix the window decorations by running "metacity --replace", but the other problem remains. I tried to remove .gnome, .gnome2, .gconf, .metacity, .cache, .dbus, .dmrc. I noticed that when starting "gnome-shell --replace" from a terminal, I get "Failed to migrate monitor configuration for ... Empty Configuration", and when running gnome-control-center, the option "Displays" shows "Could not get screen information" and the console shows: 'Name "org.gnome.Mutter.DisplayConfig" does not exist'. This happens both when logging in physically and when logging in virtually using VNC. How can I fix this? Do I need to reset more of GNOME's config? Many Thanks and Best Regards! To follow-up and provide a conclusion to my issue, in case anyone else runs into a similar situation. TLDR - go to bottom and read item #7. To recap the issue: I have a Dell PowerEdge server with a CentOS KVM host (Earth) with one CentOS guest (Sequoia) that I am trying to expand the partition and filesystem on. I have LVM logical volumes on the host system (Earth), which are used as devices/partitions on the guest system (Sequoia). In this particular situation I have successfully extended the logical volume (lv_SeqEco) on Earth from 500GB to 700GB. 1. Checking the disk information (lsblk) on Earth shows that the logical volume (lv_SeqEco) is now listed as 700GB. 2. Checking disk information (lsblk) on Sequoia shows that the disk /dev/vde is still listed as 500GB, and partition /dev/vde1 where the mount point /ecosystem is located is also listed as 500GB. 3. I had tried using the resize2fs command to expand the filesystem on /dev/vde1, but it returned with the result that there was nothing to do. Which makes sense now after I checked the disk information, since /dev/vde on Sequoia has not increased from 500GB to 700GB. 4. On previous occasions when I have done this task, I would just start GParted on Sequoia and use the GUI to expand the partition and filesystem. I am unable to do this now, as the VGA adapter on my server has died and I have no graphical output to the attached monitor. 5. My goal was to not have to not have to reboot the system. Especially since it is a 10-year old server and there is no longer VGA output to view the boot process. What I tried, and what worked to solve my issue: 1. First, I tried rescannning the device on the guest: echo 1 > /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.1/host1/target1:0:0/1:0:0:0/rescan This resulted in no output, and checking lsblk on the guest (Sequoia) showed no change: vde 500GB disk vde1 500GB part /ecosystem 2. Second, I tried using "virsh blockresize" from the host (Earth) system. Get the block size information earth# virsh domblkinfo SequoiaVM vde output: vde capacity 751619276800 Resize the block (express the size in Bytes) earth# virsh blockresize SequioaVM vde 751619276800B output: Block device vde is resized. Check the block device on the guest to confirm. sequoia# lsblk vde 700GB disk vde1 500GB part /ecosystem Therefore, virsh blockresize was successful. 3. I now have the larger disk recognized on the guest system, but still need to expand the partition and the filesystem. Tried the following options. resize2fs -p /dev/vde1 output: filesystem is already xx blocks long, nothing to do. growpart /dev/vde 1 output: This showed output indicating the partition had changed changed: partition=1 start=63 old: size=1048575937 end=1048576000 new: size=1468003572 end=1468003635 However, checking lsblk on the guest still showed the same result vde 700GB disk vde1 500GB part /ecosystem On the off chance that growpart was successful, I ran resize2fs again and it produced the same result as above. partprobe output: failed to re-read the partition table on all attached devices (including /dev/vde1); device or resource busy. Tried using "parted" and its resize command. First, using the print command to get the parameters of /dev/vde (output: end=751617861119B, size=751617828864B). Then changing parted to select (use) /dev/vde1 and used print command to view parameters of /dev/vde1 (output: end=536870879743B, size=536870879744B). (parted)# resize 1 0 751617861119 output: The location 751617861119 is outside of the device /dev/vde1 Looked at using fdisk; however, the documentation stated that the only way to change the partition size using fdisk is by deleting it and recreating it. I didn't want to do this. I finally decided that everything indicated that I would not be able to complete this while the system was online and/or mounted, despite all my research information showing that. 4. Unmounted the filesystem of the guest and run partprobe. sequoia# service smb stop sequoia# umount /ecosystem sequoia# partprobe output: This produced the same warnings as before (failed to re-read the partition, device busy) for all partitions that were still mounted, but did not produce the warning for partition /dev/vde1 that had been unmounted. sequoia# lsblk vde 700GB disk vde1 700GB part /ecosystem Success. The new partition is now recognized in the kernel, and I should now be able to resize the filesystem. 5. Run resize2fs sequoia# resize2fs -p /dev/vde1 output: please run e2fsck -f /dev/vde1 first sequoia# e2fsck -f -C 0 /dev/vde1 (-C 0 will display the progress) output: system passed all checks. sequoia# resize2fs -p /dev/vde1 output: resizing the filesystem on /dev/vde1 to 183500446 (4k) blocks, begin Pass 1, extending inode table, filesystem is now 183500446 blocks long. 6. Remount the filesystem and check the filesystem size. sequoia# mount /dev/vde1 /ecosystem sequoia# service smb start sequoia# df -h filesystem=/dev/vde1 size=689G used=459G available=196G used%=71% mount=/ecosystem 7. So in conclusion I needed to do the following steps to resize and expand my disk without a reboot. There may still be other ways that this can be accomplished, but this worked for my CentOS 6 system (both host and guest). a. On the host system, lvextend to expand the logical volume used by the guest as it's disk. b. On the host system, virsh blockresize to get the guest system to recognize the expanded disk space. c. On the guest system, growpart to grow the partition to the expanded space. d. On the guest system, unmount the filesystem (stop services as required). e. On the guest system, partprobe to get the kernel to recognize the expanded partition. f. On the guest system, resize2fs (run filesystem check if required) to expand the filesystem. Thanks to all that provided suggestions and insight, it was very helpful in my research and methodical stepping through this process. Jeff

Confirmed by checking another random mirror in the US from https://www.centos.org/download/mirrors/.

Hi all I did a "yum install dcfldd" on Centos7. I plugged in my USB HUb, plugged in 3 disks I want to duplicate Verified each disk plugged in run the command dcfldd if=myimg.img of=/dev/sdd of=/dev/sde of=/dev/sdf No errors no nothing, Said "writing" the whole time - when done it said 8248Mb Written But the image was not actually written to the three disks. It still just has a single partition - the default partition. Am I doing something wrong ? Thanks, Jerry

I realized I was still on receiving the daily digest format last night, so I have probably screwed up the threading on this now. If you cc me directly maybe I can maintain the future threading. Ok, looking at Parted it looks like the resize (or resizepart) command will be what I will need. But that doesn't appear to help recognize the expanded disk, so I think I need something before that. That is what I thought the echo 1 > rescan would do for me. I will look more into fdisk to understand the capabilities there. I am going to take advantage of the holiday weekend in a few days to take care of this so I am trying to understand all of the options available to me before diving into the task. In response to Gordon also, I did rescan the drive as suggested and got the same results; no such file or directory. So then I did a search for the rescan file to see where it was present. Found it in a few locations, but this one looks to be the one that I would want to try. /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.1/host1/target1:0:0/1:0:0:0/ The rescan file was also located in just: /sys/bus/pci but don't know if that would do the job for the specific device. Troubles expanding file system.

Greetings - I have tried posting this four times now, from two different email addresses (on the 25th, 27th, 30th, and 31st) and it never appeared. I don't see it in the archives, so it appears to be getting dropped in transition for some reason. I am not getting messages from the email system saying it is undeliverable, or is bounced; I am sending as plain text, not HTML, I stripped off my signature. If this makes it through, someone please give me a clue why the others might not have. But that is not as important as the real issue that I am trying to get addressed below. Thanks for any assistance. I have a Dell PowerEdge server with a CentOS KVM host (Earth) with one CentOS guest (Sequoia) that I am trying to expand the partition and filesystem on. I have LVM logical volumes on the host system (Earth), which are used as devices/partitions on the guest system (Sequoia). In this particular situation I have successfully extended the logical volume (lv_SeqEco) on Earth from 500GB to 700GB. 1. Checking the disk information (lsblk) on Earth shows that the logical volume (lv_SeqEco) is now listed as 700GB. 2. Checking disk information (lsblk) on Sequoia shows that the disk /dev/vde is still listed as 500GB, and partition /dev/vde1 where the mount point /ecosystem is located is also listed as 500GB. 3. I had tried using the resize2fs command to expand the filesystem on /dev/vde1, but it returned with the result that there was nothing to do. Which makes sense now after I checked the disk information, since /dev/vde on Sequoia has not increased from 500GB to 700GB. 4. On previous occasions when I have done this task, I would just start GParted on Sequoia and use the GUI to expand the partition and filesystem. A real quick and simple solution. 5. The problem I have now is that the VGA adapter on my server has died and I have no graphical output to the attached monitor, nor to the iDrac console display. So I am stuck doing this entirely by the command line while logged into the system remotely. 6. I suspect that I need to rescan the devices on Sequoia so that it recognizes the increased space that has been allocated from the extended the logical volume. But when I did that (command below) it came back with a no such file or directory. echo 1 > /sys/class/block/vde1/device/rescan 7. This server is being retired in the next few months, but I need this additional space prior to migrating to the new system. Can someone give me some guidance on what I am missing in this sequence? systemd | Requires statement with an instantiated service

Maybe the work day is already to long. I can not find a solution for following requirement. How to apply a "Requires" with an instantiated service. Example: a@.service b.service a@.service is started as a(a)host1.service and b.service must be started after a(a)host1.service but the unit will be differently parameterized (depended of the region). So I want to generalize the requires statement. My dropin file in ./b.service.d/dep.conf looks like [Unit] Requires="a(a)*.service" This just produces following error: 'Failed to add dependency on "a(a)*.service", ignoring: Invalid argument' I use also a Before=b.service statement for a@.service but that is not enough. Unable to update Google products on CentOS 7

Hi, I have Google rpm repository enabled. However, running "yum update" returns https://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTPS Error 404 - Not Found It worked OK just a couple of days ago. Hello, I have some data analysis applications running on CentOS 6.4 and 6.6. Due to these CentOS variants not being supported on the Intel Ice Lake server platform I have to migrate them. The minimum CentOS variant which works on the Ice Lake is 7.4. Please can you give me an idea of the migration complexity of moving the applications from 6.4/6.6 to 7.4 or any variant of 7. Upgrading (?) from legacy boot to UEFI

After three days of effort I have failed to find a way of shifting a server from legacy boot to UEFI boot. I have made my way through the 400+ pages of RH installation manual for EL7, plus their similarly large system administrators manual. Dozens of pages searched via google and yet none of the layouts for the /boot and /boot/efi have worked in my case. System is a Lenovo 3650 M5 with UEFI bios. Due to RH / CentOS design my initial install onto the two 600GB HDD partitioned these using MBR and legacy boot. I have just obtained two SAS SSD drives of 3.8TB and thus MBR is no longer an option. I have successfully migrated all the system and data from the HDD to the SSD, complete with GPT and RAID1 and all works as expected - except the HDD was still needed to boot the system. That's when the fun / agony started. Each system reboot is almost five minutes just to get to the <F1> for system setup option. Thus testing is a very slow process. I am now at the point where I have a "bios boot" partition (1024K type ef02) as the first partition on each GPT partitioned SSD and have grub2-install onto the drives the bios boot junk needed for legacy boot. Thus I can at least legacy boot from one of the SSD and all comes up as expected. (no idea yet why it only works from one of the SSD and not the other). Unfortunately the server is remote and the CentOS7 USB device I left plugged into the machine refuses to boot from UEFI mode. Thus a rescue mode boot has not been possible. I tried a few manual edits to the grub.cfg to deal with linux16 -> linuxefi and initrd16 -> initrdefi but to little avail. Can someone point me to what needs to happen for UEFI boot to work successfully. I am unsure what file I need to point the UEFI bios disk manager setup at, I have tried shim.efi and shimx84-centos.efi The message I get is that linux16 and initrd16 cannot find their files. The change to linuxefi and initrdefi also fail but the system reboot happens before I can see what flashes on screen. Is a USB based UEFI booted rescue mode the only way I can fix this? TIA for your pointers / suggestions.

Annoying shortcut

For at least this year, I'm finding that whether I'm in LibreOffice, or Thunderbird, or Firefox, if I do *something*, and I haven't identified what, backspace will delete the entire word, though I haven't hit ctrl-bkspc. In system settings, it should only be the ctrl-bkspc. Has anyone else seen this behavior? mark

I get "bad shim signature" booting with Secure Boot enabled

Hi, If I enable Secure Boot in my UEFI I get this error (just after selecting Centos from the grub menu) grub-core/kern/efi/sb.c:151: bad shim signature grub-core/loader/i386/efi/linux.c:208: you need to load the kernel first Can someone explain to me why I get this, please? And what can I do to get Centos to boot with Secure Boot? My system: NAME="CentOS Linux" VERSION="8" CentOS Linux release 8.4.2105 Thank you.

Git 2.23 or later

The latest version of git for C7 is 1.8.3 and in SCL it's 2.18 although the repository claims 2.9 is also available. I am looking to upgrade to 2.23 since i need the --no-overlay option. Is anyone running this version (or later)? If so, from which repository? Thanks.
