Polycom multicast

Does polycom support "normal" multicast from asterisk as the source? I'm getting the impression that it only supports its OWN phone to phone multicast or something. Thanks, Jerry

Is there a way to take qemu-4.2 and install on C7/C8 in a "different" location than normal so as to not affect virtd and anything else running currently ? Thanks, Jerry

UEFI on CentOS 8.1

Are UEFI clients still not possible on 8.1 ? I was looking for a setup in the GUI and dont see it. Searching "suggests" that --boot-uefi may be a command line option - but again I see nothing on the GUI. Thanks Jerry

find leave packages at CentOS-8

Hi: I use to find all the leave packages with "package-cleanup --leaves --all". but the "--all" parameter no longer valid under CentOS-8. is there alternative command I can use to find out all the leave packages?

ntfs support

I should think this is quite a basic question but what I have tried so far hasn't worked. I have centos altarch 7 and I want to mount an ntfs volume. (I am beginning to suspect it is not available for 32 bit so I will need to get the source and compile?) Centos 7: setting DSCP values on bonding interfaces?

Hi, is it possible to set DSCP values on bonding interfaces? Packets from asterisk do not have their DSCP values set, so apparently it is not setting them despite it is set up for it, and it seems to be using libcap so it should be able to set them. I can see packets from phones having such values set when monitoring the traffic, so it's likely I would see packages from asterisk having values set if they were set. Perhaps asterisk can not set the values because a bonding interface is being used. Or there is something with Centos 7 that prevents setting the values?

system-config-network centos altarch

Hi I have just installed centos 7 altarch on a 32 bit computer. I selected the minimal system install. I see that when I search with yum there is no command system-config-network, i.e. yum search system-config-network Does this command (system-config-network) still exist? Would I expect it to be in the repository even though I did a minimum install? Although I do not have X, I can run some X applications by using ssh -Y from another computer, although messing with the network settings could be tricky...

CentOS 8 on USB disk

I did the dd if=CentOS-8.1.1911-x86_64-dvd1.iso of=/dev/sdd to a 16G USB disk then tried to use it on an install. The installer said invalid install media. Any way to verify if the "write" to disk was good ? I got no errors on the dd. I did re-download the iso and did a diff and there was no diff. So I think my iso is OK. Jerry

hi All - I tried doing: yum provides "/usr/sbin/lokkit" on CentOS 8 and got No Matches found. Where can I get his for C8? Jerry
