Hi, Can anyone please help. I have an Intel NUC11i7 running CentOS 8.4 successfully. I have a Plugable USB 3.0 to 2.5GbE adapter to be used with the NUC. This works at 1GbE but the standard CentOS 8.4 driver will not allow me to change the speed. Can anyone please point me in the right direction for the driver and driver installation instructions. Hi guys, Thank you all for replys and sorry I was having enabled digest mode and I did not get all messages in time. Here are answers: Message 2: Client and server are virtual machines inside vmware environment which is connected to 10gbps. Network is devided between virtual machines. Physical servers are connected to Nexus switch with 10gbps. Message 3: We have try speeds with iperf, they are between 1 and 6 gbps, sometimes goes to 8gbps - depends of the load of networks. All checks was done with sync mode (NFS will be used for important data and we do not want to lose something). Message 4: Config is default, just installed and tested with NFSv3 NFSv4. Message 5: We did not enable jumbo frames on network. Once you have a baseline for that, we'd have to know things like read and write buffer sizes, and sync vs async mode. NFS experts will add NFS specific tuning. Hi, I want to execute a command after every "dnf makecache". Is there a simple way to have a post-exec hook within the dnf system? Mailing list archives pretty but need to be wider

The CSS for the list archives should specify a slightly larger width for the message text. Archives for this list: <https://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos/> I looked up a useful reply in the archives for sharing elsewhere and found that they're nicely-formatted but the message display is a little narrow so the normal email wrapping column is wider than allowed by the archive page's CSS, resulting in text lines getting truncated unpleasantly. I'm guessing it's wrapping at 72 columns instead of 80 but I'm not enough of a CSS wizard to find how the element width is set but adding about 10% would probably fix it. Here's an example where the last 2-3 words of each line get wrapped to the next line: <https://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos/2022-April/715512.html> (It's not as obvious in posts quoting a config file because those tend to be narrow and don't overflow the narrowed right margin. Looking up this message in the archives should show the problem, though.)

IPv6 token with /60 and prefix delegation

I'm trying to figure out how to assign a "static" address that automatically sets the prefix to what the ISP delegates. It seemed like the token system would accomplish that, but reading the kernel source code, I've discovered that tokens only work with a /64 delegation. My ISP offers a /60, so the token is ignored and I get a random address, instead. Is there some way to use prefix delegation to pick a /64 from the /60 and loop it back onto the same interface to make it use the token? Or is this /64 restriction actually a kernel bug? See line 2788 here, where the token is ignored if the prefix isn't /64: <https://elixir.bootlin.com/linux/latest/source/net/ipv6/addrconf.c> Am I reading the code wrong? It looks like all the autoconf stuff that computes interface addresses breaks with smaller prefixes.
