This box has a nvidia 6600 series card, and I've isntalled the Nvidia drivers (download from nvidia and run their installer).
You'll have better luck using the dkms drivers from rpmforge when you go to update your kernel.
Found "enable desktop effects", click it, and it says "could not enable desktop effects". Not very informative.
Right. There's some stuff you have to add to your xorg.conf to make it go.
