If you wanted to keep the drives in the same box I'm sure theres a way, with linux there always is :) Anyone?
Well, if the disc used LVM, you would obviously have to rename the VG/LV's or there would be duplicates. How about the GUID?
At any rate, I think the OP didnt have this in mind so now we are hijacking his thread.
