&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I am having the source code of kernel with
patched(2.6.9). After untar iin kernels directory . I tried to make the
rpm of the kernel with changing the extraversion in Makefile. After
that i run the command &quot;make rpm&quot; . I made the kernel rpm but ii made
the distribution . But it gives the kernel panic . I made the
initrd&nbsp; manually&nbsp; so it worked . please give me&nbsp; some
idea how can i make the initrd image ...<br>
