That's not a fix. A fix is finding out where the logs are being written, not installing another package. Though, having said that, I realise that I am assuming that the minimal install contains *some* logging package, and that may possibly be incorrect.
There appeared to be no logging package. This was a minimal openvz template for Centos 7 though.
