So let me lighten the pain: CentOS is a rebuild of RHEL. So if the perl-related rpms from Red Hat have a quality problem, the CentOS packages suffer from the same problem.
Do you have any experience with the rpms to which I'm referring? Do you work with the same software I do?
I fail to see why that is relevant in relation to what you stated about RHEL and CentOS. Although I found Jim's response amusing it should have caused self-reflection and maybe self-correction, instead of on outburst.
