I have this running in production. only not with 2 machines, but with 4 machines, doing raid-10 ( not mdraid10, but conventional 2 sets of raid-1's 0'd )
I thought the original object was to make the space available to multiple VMware ESX(i) servers so you could vmotion guests among them. Can ESX construct raids out of multiple iscsi sources?
