If you're responding to my comment, you seem to have misunderstood me. The only servers I had that offered fakeRAID were Intel motherboards, with the chips for fakeRAID on the motherboard, not a separate card. Are you *sure* lspci is not finding the card? Perhaps try lspci | grep -v Intel
