there ya go. it saved it as two pieces, rather than appending (sometimes wget is annoying this way, there's a bazillion flags to modify its behavior)
$ cat CentOS-5.2-i386-bin-DVD.iso CentOS-5.2-i386-bin-DVD.iso.1 > fullDVD.iso
and THEN md5sum this NEW file.
