pico /etc/crontab shows...

i have searched and looked and fiddled yet... ummm dunno...
...and i have nothing in /etc/cron.hourly or /etc/cron.d among other places yet ever hour my logfile gets touched so to speak with this stuff and i have virtually every daemon shutoff so i am trying to figure out what it is that is doing this and would sincerely appreciate any help.
what did i space or forget please?

try looking in the /etc/log.d/conf/logwatch.conf file and see if that has it. I know the other stuff is in there about the other logs.
