Man, this is getting frustrating. In addition to all the other yum install commands that tell me there's nothing to do, I add these:
yum install mysql-server.i386
yum install mysql-server
What gives?

You need to install mysql server software but rather than tell you what
to install, I will tell you how to find what you need to install...

yum search mysql

somewhere in the ouput of that command, there will be the server
software that you need to install.
