They off up their SRC rpms right? Grab the .spec file and have a go at updating it yourself. It's sometimes as simple as grabbing the new src tar ball, incrementing the build number and running rpmbuild -ba blah.spec. Sometimes there are patches to merge or library issues, but I've had really good luck at that. Also, if you show up to an interview and say you build your own rpms for consistent builds and deployments you're going to get a lot farther than most people.
