Is this anything related to CentOS at all or is this purely an application error?

I ran hlds for a long time until recently. I ran it on RHEL3 and down. I would not suspect the OS...I'd suspect the game server. Valve is always pushing out ill-tested updates. The server operator are always the ones to suffer.
