Ok, sorry I didn't know that it was a problem. What is the problem exactly ?
Does anybody knows where I can found an eclipse 3.1 package for Centos ?
Doesn't seem likely. I had a crack at rebuilding the latest FC4 package from source and the build-dep requirements seem daunting...

Might try requesting the package from RPMforge or ATrpms, but don't hold your breath as many of the packages above are not available for EL4. Users rpmforge users@lists.rpmforge.net ATrpms user list atrpms-users@ATrpms.net
Phil
Well, I just downloaded the 3.1 SDK file from eclipse.org and untar it in a directory. Then, I can run eclipse from this directory without having to do a "make install". So I don't think that I will use an rpm package in order to install eclipse because if I want to uninstall it, I just have to delete the directory.....
All the same, I have a question : What is the advantage of using an rpm package in this case ?
Thanks,
Jean
