CentOS Linux 5 has reached End of Life, as of 31 March 2017.
Please note that the latest version of CentOS Linux 5 (version 5.11 with updates) will remain available here (archived):
Please also note that this directory will not be maintained as there are no more public source code releases for upstream RHEL-5. That means there will be no more security updates for CentOS Linux 5. The CentOS team does not recommend using CentOS Linux 5 for any purpose.
If you have workloads that can not be moved from the EL5 code base, you can obtain paid extended support from Red Hat for RHEL-5. See ELS (Extended Life-cycle Support) from this link:

Thanks, Johnny Hughes
