Hi,
Are there any easy to use snmp(mainly temperature monitoring) tools around for Centos -4? This is on a Dell sc420 server.
I use 'lm-sensors' on the assorted servers I admin. Things like CPU temp, FAN speed, Volts etc. Works on dual CPUs nicely too.
You may need to compile a kernel with support for the on-board sensor chip.
Use 'sensors-detect' to find out.
I think you can then use 'sensord' to rig up mrtg or something similar.
