Hi all,
now that EL5.1 is out the big question is when will Centos 5.1 be out. I know the answer, when it's ready.
According to KB, the target is "in a couple of weeks". By the way, there are answers to that question other than "when it's ready" :

Does this also mean that the CentOS 5 IA64 port will now be CentOS 5.1 IA64 instead?
I'm still waiting on this and am hoping it will be ready soon. I'm planning a migration from OpenSuse 10.0 to CentOS 5 this December if possible.
I do not think that the IA64 port will be out by December. I am not sure if there is a core developer who can work on IA64 fulltime to deal with all the headaches that keep showing up. [IA64 seems to be the Alpha architecture of today..]
