What should I do? Where to start from to solve the problem?
Simple - use CentOS 5.
If your really wanting to use CentOS 4 run it in a VM, or build a custom driver disk after compiling the right drivers against the kernel used during installation, this process can be quite complicated, but it is possible I did it several times, there are instructions online on how to do it.
