Sorry, I missed the "!" in the above paste:
find . -type f -exec grep -il !* {} ; -exec grep -i !* {} ; -exec echo ;
If you are using GNU grep (well, you are using CentOS),
grep -ri "foo" dir/to/search/in
seems much shorter to me.
