The lowest price hardware I found the other day was the ASUS F201E (X201E in USA). It is the right size at the right price... but it runs on UEFI Bios.
<snip> Question: my stepson and I just got a new m/b, and in the BIOS, there's an option in, I think, advanced (this is AMI BIOS on a Gigabyte board), that allows you to choose UEFI, or non-EFI. Have you looked for that?
