Hi,
I installed below 2 Dag's rpm.
squidguard-1.2.0-2.rf.i386.rpm squidguard-blacklists-20050528-1.rf.noarch.rpm
The blacklists used to be update daily. If you want a current list of sites to block, that is _very_ old.
Look for alternatives, I think they exist.
and included the below line to my squid.conf file
redirect_program /usr/bin/squidguard
then I restarted squid daemon.
then I had a look at squidguard log. Then It gives a following error.
[root@worldnet noarch]# tail -f /var/log/squidguard/squidGuard.log 2007-01-23 12:29:01 [7242] going into emergency mode 2007-01-23 12:29:01 [7235] init domainlist /var/lib/squidguard/adult/domains 2007-01-23 12:29:01 [7235] /var/lib/squidguard/adult/domains: Permission denied 2007-01-23 12:29:01 [7235] going into emergency mode 2007-01-23 12:29:01 [7240] init domainlist /var/lib/squidguard/adult/domains 2007-01-23 12:29:01 [7240] /var/lib/squidguard/adult/domains: Permission denied 2007-01-23 12:29:01 [7240] going into emergency mode 2007-01-23 12:29:01 [7246] init domainlist /var/lib/squidguard/adult/domains 2007-01-23 12:29:01 [7246] /var/lib/squidguard/adult/domains: Permission denied 2007-01-23 12:29:01 [7246] going into emergency mode
Why is that?
Pls help me to solve this issue.
Probably you got permissions and/ownership wrong. Reread the docs.
