Hi all,
I am using centos 5. I need the screen to always be on. I have gone into System -> Preferences -> Screen saver and then I unchecked the "Activate screen saver when computer is IDLE" setting. I also edited the xorg.conf and commented out the dpms line.
However, my screen is still going into some kind of screen saver.
What else is there to disable?
Are you using the root account as a user account? I had screen blanking when I used to log in as root under SL 4.x.
