Since the device is new anyway you have nothing to lose.
sfdisk doesn't understand GUID Partition Table (GPT) and it isnot designed for large partitions. In particular case use more advanced GNU parted(8).
Is it ok?
Does the original disk use GPT? It should not be necessary if it is < 2.19TB.
