We use 3ware 8506-4LP and the 8006-2LP cards which are SATA. They work wonderfully. We had used highpoint cards, but getting them to work was difficult and the performance was not very good.

I'm using an older 3ware 6400 series card and it works right out of the box. I hear most of the 3ware cards are fully supported out of box.

Hey all,
After seeing the horrible lack of support for Promise cards in Redhat Enterprise/CentOS, I am looking for a recommendation for a good IDE RAID controller that is supported out of the box (i.e. I would prefer not to have to install via a driver disk).
I would prefer ATA 133 over Serial ATA for now.
Thanks! Sean _______________________________________________ CentOS mailing list CentOS@caosity.org http://lists.caosity.org/mailman/listinfo/centos
