I asked about SMB access to Centos 6. Pete Geenhuizen answered:
The solution for me has always been to install wsdd and as soon as it's running windows can almost immediately see the host, and BTW you'll need to install it on any upgrade that you install.
Thanks. But YUM tells me no such package. Where do you get it?
