Dag,
Do you know if it's possible to setup an apt repository without having the SRPMS available?
As I collect packages I want to toss them in an area where I can share with others here in the office. However, some people seem to think a graphical package browsing system is necessary.

im just using the default /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources file with up2date
i didnt add or remove any mirrors in the file
i could add another mirror to the file and fix it how you did yours....
could i also install the previous version of up2date so i can recieve updates till this version gets fixed
that would not cause any problems would it?
A solution I'm now advicing to my users is to switch to the apt back-end by using:
apt dag http://apt.sw.be redhat/el3/en/i386 dag
instead of
yum dag http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el3/en/i386/dag
As explained in the Red Hat bugzilla report:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=129215
