I just installed CentOS 4.2 on a system that was running RedHat 9.

Now the browser (Mozilla Firefox) can't connect to web sites via their name (www.google.com).

It can however connect if the IP address is used (66.102.7.147).

Also the 'dig' command times out with either the name or the IP address.

Has anyone else seen this?

Any pointers would be most appreciated.
