those are just intended to provide a minimal VGA for initial
installation
and configuration of a server, they were never intended for use as a workstation. They are a Rage 6, not really a Radeon, they have very limited 3D capability, with no shaders.
There seems to be no support for this graphic card for Linux by AMD/ATI that I can see.
Your only option (as i see it), is either a standalone graphics card or somehow using the VESA generic driver.
