A few words of advise:
- Always try updates on a sandbox before putting them on your production
servers. You always have a good chance of updates breaking things, be it CentOS, Oracle, Microsoft, Solaries, AIX or anything else. Just naming a few I had past experiences of breakage on update.
- Consider everything outside the Base repository as UNSTABLE. If it were
stable enough, it would be on the Base repository.
Anyway, good luck. I hope things get fixed for you soon.
Best Regards,
I think i was misunderstood. I didn´t want to blame anybody and i´m aware that such situations can occure.
I didn't think you were. I only thought you were illadvised.
Rodrigo, thank you for your advise. I will deactivate the plus repos for the future.
