I suspect that you are using a 6.4 iso and 6.5/updates from your kernel version in your previous emails.

It works with Centos Minimal, but not with DVD1.
I use this image http://ftp.ines.lug.ro/centos/6.5/isos/x86_64/CentOS-6.5-x86_64-bin-DVD1.iso
