We are pushing the new cups now ... (it was a security update)
some mirrors have it, other don't yet
Ah, that explains a lot... I was under the impression both were updating off of the same mirror (my own), but it seems the backup mirrors were not in failover but in round-robin (or whatever it's called) mode... stupid me.
