Good day -- I am having a go at installing VMware on my centos 4.2 machine. I am going through the configuration script and I am getting to the part where I need the c headers for my kernel. What package do I need to install to make these available, and where are they installed to? I have been searching for this with little luck.
kernel-devel

Ok - that is what I thought..... what location does the centos RPM install it to?
the files are setup at /usr/src/kernel/<kver>-<arch>/ and the correct /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build symlink setup.
