Guess you have never worked in an organization of any size where you worry about reliability, patches, bug fixes, etc.
.0 releases can tough on your back side even if performance is acceptable and you believe there is a good reason (but your boss may not agree) :)

Never go to a major revision.0 unless you are forced.
