Because the contents of 5/ are symlinks to the 5.7/ directories!?!
yeah I noticed that they've changed that. in 4.x, cd centos; ln -s 4 4.8 but in 5.x+, its more like,
cd centos/5.7 for i in *; do ln $i ../5/$i; done
