[CentOS] C6: Gparted "the kernel failed to re-read partition table"

On C6 (latest) I wanted to add an extra partition, number 14, to a 1TB GPT disk.

It failed repeatedly. The error message is:-

Does C6's version of Gparted work with GPT disks ?
