I have an issue with cdrecord though and I can't figure it out. I use Webmin, which basically just creates an iso and then uses cdrecord to burn it and it worked fine with previously installed CentOS 4 (I wiped and reinstalled about 8 months ago).
This is the command that Webmin tries to execute...
cdrecord -v dev=0,0,0 speed=4 -isosize \ '/home/Linux/CentOS-4/CentOS-4.2-i386-bin4of4.iso'
Try:
dev=ATAPI:0,0,0
yeah I figured it out and posted my resolution. Doing google search wasn't any good until I added ATAPI to the google search and then it paid off.
Yeah. Oh well, big e-mail backlogs and all that. Only saw you already found it after I replied.
In any case, I noticed someone recomending ide-scsi. I would like to point out that is NOT recommended on kernel 2.6, even tho it is ok for 2.4.
There, at least now my e-mail was not completely useless (just 99%, but not completely) :)
