It will be seen with the release of Cent 5.6
Both bind97 and php53 packages are included in CentOS Testing Repo[1], and yes it will be included in C 5.6 (like RHEL 5.6).
What can I (my company) do to help "test"?

Replacing some existing components with the the bind97 and php53 packages would help test backward compatibility, I'm sure!
